Whole Life Fasting Are Destroyed!!!

It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allāh knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allāh has decreed for you [i.e., offspring]. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the night [i.e., Dusk.]. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allāh, so do not approach them. Thus does Allāh make clear His verses [i.e., ordinances] to the people that they may become righteous.[2:187]

Explanatory Note

Verse 187 of Chapter 2 (Surah Al-Baqarah) in the Holy Quran addresses the topic of fasting during the month of Ramazan. Here is a brief explanation of the verse:

The verse states: "It has been made lawful for you to approach your wives during the nights of the fast. They are a garment for you and you are a garment for them. Allah knew that you were being dishonest to yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. Now, you may have intimate relations with them and seek what Allah has ordained for you. Eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct from the black thread. Then complete the fast until the nightfall. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits set by Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His verses to the people that they may become righteous."

This verse provides guidance on permissible intimate relations between spouses during the nights of Ramazan and the boundaries set by Allah. It emphasizes the importance of self-control and abstinence from intimacy during the fasting hours from dawn until Dusk. The verse also highlights the significance of repentance, forgiveness, and following the prescribed limits set by Allah for maintaining righteousness.

Here is some additional information related to verse 187 of Chapter 2 (Surah Al-Baqarah) in the Holy Quran:

Context of the Verse:

Surah Al-Baqarah is the second chapter of the Quran and is one of the longest chapters in terms of verses. It covers various aspects of faith, guidance, and the laws prescribed for the Muslim community.

Verse 187 is part of a passage that addresses the rules and regulations regarding fasting during the month of Ramadan.

Intimate Relations during Ramadan Nights:

The verse states that during the nights of Ramadan, it is permissible for married couples to engage in intimate relations. This means that after breaking their fast at sunset, they are allowed to have intimate relations until the pre-dawn meal (suhoor) when fasting begins again.

The verse uses the metaphor of spouses being garments for one another, emphasizing the close bond, protection, and comfort that they provide for each other.

Repentance and Forgiveness:

The verse mentions that Allah was aware that some people were being dishonest to themselves regarding the rules of fasting. It implies that there may have been individuals who were engaging in intimate relations during the fasting hours.

However, Allah accepts repentance and forgives those who sincerely repent for their past mistakes. This indicates the divine mercy and willingness to forgive sincere repentance.

The Limits and Boundaries of Fasting:

The verse sets the boundaries and limitations for fasting. It instructs believers to refrain from intimate relations with their spouses during the fasting hours from dawn until sunset.

The command to refrain from intimate relations while staying for worship in the mosques suggests a higher level of devotion and focus on worship during that time.

The verse also mentions the criterion for starting and ending the fast, which is recognizing the distinction between the white thread of dawn and the black thread of nightfall.

Guidance and Righteousness:

The verse concludes by stating that these instructions and limits set by Allah are meant to make His verses clear to the people so that they may become righteous.

The verse emphasizes the importance of following Allah's guidance, observing the prescribed limits, and seeking righteousness through obedience to His commands.

It's important to learn and understand Quranic Arabic to gain a comprehensive understanding of the verses and their application in one's life.

What is night?

Scientifically, night is defined as the period of darkness that occurs when a particular location on the Earth's surface is facing away from the Sun. During the night, the Sun is below the horizon, and the sky appears dark. Here are some key scientific aspects and examples related to the concept of night:

Earth's Rotation: The occurrence of day and night is primarily due to the rotation of the Earth on its axis. As the Earth rotates, different parts of its surface are exposed to the Sun's light. The side facing the Sun experiences daylight, while the opposite side experiences night.

Duration of Night: The duration of night varies depending on the time of year and the latitude of a particular location. Near the Earth's poles, the night can last for several months during certain times of the year due to the tilt of the Earth's axis. In contrast, at the equator, the duration of night remains relatively constant throughout the year, with approximately 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness.

Twilight: Twilight is the transitional period between day and night when the Sun is below the horizon but its indirect light still illuminates the sky. There are three types of twilight: civil twilight, nautical twilight, and astronomical twilight. Civil twilight occurs when there is enough light for most outdoor activities, nautical twilight is when the horizon is still visible for navigation purposes, and astronomical twilight is when the sky is dark enough for astronomers to observe celestial objects.

Note: Twilight is the transitional period between day and night when the Sun is below the horizon. But it is not night (LAIL) and day.

Here's some more information about the appearance of stars in the sky after sunset:

Twilight Phases: After sunset, the sky goes through different stages of twilight, which is the period when the Sun is below the horizon but still illuminates the sky. There are three main phases of twilight:

a. Civil Twilight: This is the period just after sunset when the Sun is between 0 and 6 degrees below the horizon. During civil twilight, there is still enough sunlight to illuminate the sky, and the brighter stars and planets become visible. This phase typically lasts for about 30 minutes.

b. Nautical Twilight: Nautical twilight occurs when the Sun is between 6 and 12 degrees below the horizon. It is darker than civil twilight, and during this phase, more stars become visible, including medium-brightness stars and some constellations. Nautical twilight generally lasts for about 50 minutes. This is time to break the fast (Iftari) 50 minutes after sunset.

c. Astronomical Twilight: Astronomical twilight is the darkest phase of twilight when the Sun is between 12 and 18 degrees below the horizon. During this phase, the sky becomes significantly darker, and the majority of stars become visible. Astronomical twilight typically lasts for about 72 minutes.

Evening Sky: After the twilight phases, the evening sky continues to darken, and more stars become visible. The exact timing for stars to appear can vary depending on several factors, including your location, the time of year, and atmospheric conditions. Generally, within approximately 90 to 120 minutes after sunset, a significant number of stars should be visible in most locations, assuming minimal light pollution.

Midnight Sky: As the night progresses, the sky continues to darken, and more stars become visible. Around midnight, when the Sun is at its lowest point below the horizon, the sky is typically at its darkest. This is an excellent time for stargazing, as a larger number of stars, including fainter ones, become visible.

The Arabic word Layl (لَيْل) occurs 92 times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

·         84 times as the nominal layl (لَيْل)

·         eight times as the nominal laylat (لَيْلَة)

The triliteral root of Layl (لَيْل) is  lām yā lām (ل ي ل). Its literal meaning is night.

The translations below are brief glosses intended as a guide to meaning.

Night is the period of darkness that occurs when a specific location on the Earth's surface is facing away from the Sun. It is the opposite of day. During the night, the Sun is below the horizon, and the sky appears dark full of stars, planets, the Moon, and other astronomical phenomena.

In the Holy Quran, the duration of fasting is from Lail(Night) to Lail (Night) and not from Lail (Night) to Sunset. Otherwise, there will be an open violation of Allah's order. Which is in no way acceptable to the master of the universe. The Holy Qur'an is filled to mark the end result.
